Jimbo's Sausage & Hash Brown Quiche
Serves 4 to 6
- 4 - Hash brown patties, thawed
- 2 - Pork sausage patties
- ¼ cup - Onion, diced
- ¼ cup - Green pepper, diced
- 3 - Eggs, well beaten
- 1 teaspoon - Parsley
- ½ teaspoon - Salt
- ¼ teaspoon - Garlic salt
- ¼ teaspoon - Pepper
- 1 cup - Milk
- 4 slices - American processed cheese, cubed
Preheat oven to 425°
Place hash browns in a 9" pie plate & bake for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven & press potatoes onto bottom and 1" up the sides of the pan to form a crust.
Bake 10 more minutes. Remove crust & reduce heat to 350°
Meanwhile, brown pork sausage patties, onion & green pepper in a skillet.
Using a spatula, chop patties into small pieces; drain.
Remove from heat & set aside. Combine remaining ingredients.
To assemble: Place sausage mixture in bottom of crust.
Pour milk & egg mixture on top.
Bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
